If your baby is suffering from eczema, it will be very difficult to find a treatment which would provide with immediate relief. Bathing your baby frequently is one such home remedy which will be very useful. At least bath your baby 2 times a day but make sure that the duration of bathing is short, for around 10 to 15 minutes with warm water, making sure that the temperature is checked and is of desired amount. By using natural and unscented bathing products you will help your little ones skin to stay away from harmful chemicals which would affect the already affected skin.

Moisturizing your little one frequently is the most important to treat eczema. When the skin is moisturized it is less prone to dryness as well as itchiness. Moisturizing immediately after bath will help the skin to absorb more which will help keep the skin less prone to dryness. Make sure that the moisturizer is unscented and recommended by pediatrics.

While choosing clothes for a baby suffering from eczema needs to be extra careful. Choose clothes which are high in quality and 100% cotton. It would be much better if you could find organic cotton as the bedding and clothing could be a factor which could add to the problems, as it will touch your baby’s skin constantly. Washing your baby’s clothes frequently will keep bacteria’s at bay, making sure that the detergent you use to wash the clothes is mild and unscented. The person handling the baby has to make sure of wearing clothes which will not irritates baby’s skin as the baby will be in constant touch with you, so avoid wearing fabrics which are itchy or with sharp elements. Eczema will make your baby’s skin dry and itchy making it difficult for you to see your baby suffer, especially for those with very small baby’s  who would not express but just cry will make you go nuts.

Observation: By trying these simple home remedies like bathing frequently, moisturizing and taking care of the clothes they make, you could give some peace of mind for yourself as well as the baby, because as a mother it is really heart breaking to see your baby suffer.
